President
John Albers
John has lived in Fircrest since 1974 as well as in Seattle and Portland while attending college. His first round of golf at Meadow Park was in 1975, and he remembers hitting range balls on the coin operated driving range. John has been a member of the Meadow Park Men’s club since 1995 and has served two terms as a board member, as well a term on the Meadow Park Golf Course Advisory Committee. The camaraderie, participating in the club tournaments and social events along with the convenience of knowing tee times are regularly available to members is what he values most about his membership.

Joe Derichsweiler
Joe Derichsweiler (pronounced der-ich-why-ler) simply known as “Joe D”. Chances are you have ran into Joe in the Pro Shop as he works at Meadow Park. Joe has been deeply involved in the success of the Men’s Club Tournaments for the past 8 years. Joe D has been the Tournament Chairman for six years and the Social Chairman for eight. If you want to talk football Joe is always willing to defend his love for the 49ers and you “Seahawk Fans” will enjoy the interconference banter Joe D will share with you.

Beau Faust
Beau is originally from New Jersey and decided the Puget Sound would be his home while stationed at Fort Lewis. Belonging to several Men’s Clubs, Beau joined Meadow Park in 2013. Since joining Meadow Park, he has been The Tournament Co-Chairman, Vice President, and now served 5 terms as President. His passion for the game of golf started when he left the military and started working at Pro Golf Discount in Tacoma in 1990 and later Managing several driving ranges in the Puget Sound.

TJ Shilley
TJ Shilley a lifelong resident of Tacoma except for a short stint in Kent.TJ enjoyed a 38 year career within the Tacoma Beltline railroad. Loves motorcycles (especially Harleys), camping, fishing, golf, computers and being a FOAMER (people who love trains and the sight of them make them foam at the mouth). Married, has 5 siblings, a beautiful daughter, awesome son-in-law and 3 wonderful little Grandbabies
TJ has been playing golf for (we don’t like to use numbers that big) and had been a member at several different Clubs. He asked his friend Tony one day what he thought of the Meadow Park Men’s Club. “…the friendliest people, the most fun I’ve ever been a part of…” was his reply. That was enough for TJ, so he joined in 2016. Tony was right, our members are really great, friendly people. “I remember asking the Tournament Chairman, Joe D one day after a tournament, why we didn’t get any results”, and he replied, “because you haven’t put any out”. So he volunteered for the Men’s Club Secretary, and loves doin’ it!

Terry Wallace
Terry, known to those who love him as TMFW, is the Jack of All Trades. A former Boeing worker, beer truck driver, bar owner, and currently house painter, Terry enjoys being in the thick of it with the Men’s Club.
